Hot on the heels of Netflix CEO, Reed Hastings’ panel at the high-profile DLD (Digital Life Design) conference in Munich, our chief executive officer and co-founder, Antoine Blondeau, took part in a panel to talk about how to turn ‘big data’ into ‘smart data.’ He was joined by Mark Bergen from Re/Code (moderator), Thorsten Dirks, CEO of Telefónica Deutschland and Carlo Ratti from MIT SENSEable City Lab.
The panel touched on how artificial intelligence is being applied to big data to create actionable insights and business efficiencies in society, from healthcare and finance to ecommerce. As big data and AI are developing more quickly than ever before, the panelists also discussed how AI can be used to safeguard personal data.
